Mulch Installation in Beverly and the North Shore
Fresh mulch is the single fastest way to make a property look sharp. It cleans up the beds, holds moisture for your plants, keeps the weeds down, and gives the whole yard a finished look. We install mulch across Beverly and the North Shore at $165 per yard installed.
We do not just dump mulch and leave. We edge the beds first so there is a clean defined line, lay the mulch at an even depth, and keep it off your plants and off the hardscapes. When we are done the beds look crisp and the site is clean.
It is one of the best value jobs in landscaping. A few yards of mulch can completely change how the front of a house looks in a single day.
How We Install Mulch
Edging the beds
We cut a clean edge on the beds first so the mulch has a sharp defined border instead of bleeding into the lawn.
Prepping and weeding
We clear weeds and debris out of the beds so the fresh mulch goes down over clean ground.
Laying mulch at an even depth
Mulch goes down at a consistent depth that looks good and does the job of holding moisture and blocking weeds.
Keeping it clean around plants
We keep mulch pulled back off the base of plants and trees so nothing gets smothered, and off your walkways.
Full cleanup
We blow off and clean every hard surface when we finish so you are not left with mulch scattered on the driveway.

What Mulch Installation Costs
Mulch is $165 per yard installed. That price includes the mulch, the labor, the edging, and the cleanup, so the number you hear is the number you pay.
How much you need comes down to the size of your beds and how deep the mulch goes. Most homes need somewhere in the range of a few yards. If you are not sure how much your beds take, we can measure it out and tell you.
The main things that affect the total are the number of yards, how much bed edging and prep the beds need, and whether there are a lot of tight or hard to reach beds. We take cash and Venmo.
When to Install Mulch
Spring is the most popular time for mulch on the North Shore, usually April into June, when people are resetting their beds for the season. A spring cleanup plus fresh mulch is a very common combination.
That said, mulch can go down any time through the growing season and it always makes a property look better. Some people also refresh it in the fall.
If you want mulch done in the spring, reach out early because that is our busiest window for it.
